Four hours in the bay or on the reef off Marathon for mangrove, mutton and yellowtail snapper, grouper and whatever else is biting.

Spend the half day in the bay or out on the reef, and fill the cooler with good eating fish. Guests on Captain Jimmy's boat have brought in mangrove, mutton and yellowtail snapper, grouper, mackerel, yellow jack and sharks.
He has dozens of spots dialed in, and when the bite slows he moves to the next one. If the seas are up, he can fish calmer water by the bridges or on the Gulf side. One half-day couple went home with about 20 pounds of fillets, cleaned and ready for the grill.
Bring whatever you'd like to eat and drink. There's a cooler full of ice on board, and you're welcome to bring your own.
