A full day gives Captain Jimmy time to put it all together: the reefs and wrecks for good eating fish, and a run offshore for mahi, blackfin tuna, sailfish, kingfish and wahoo. In spring he often starts with a couple of hours of tarpon before heading out.
He keeps changing tactics until the fish bite. On one full-day dolphin trip, a guest watched him work a big bull mahi with one technique after another until it was on, then used the same tricks to land a big cow of his own. One regular always books the full day and leaves with a full cooler every time.
